Judge Hatchett

Laurence Woods and Alicia Johnson vs. Pamela Klein - Judge Glenda Hatchett presided.

Laurence Woods and Alicia Johnson sued Pamela Klein for $600.00, the amount of an unpaid loan.

Klein denied owing money to Woods. She explained that the only reason he was brought her to court was for pay back for the times that Klein called the police on Woods for beating up Johnson. Woods then presented a promissory note for the loan which was signed by Klein. Point Woods.

Klein said that she never signed the promissory note and that Woods was only a coward who was trying to "shake (her) down". She said that Woods was extremely abusive to his fiance (Johnson) and because of that, he would never get the money back. Point Klein, I guess.

Woods stated to the court that Klein was an "undercover racist". She once called Woods a "'n'-boy" and said that she was going to "beat (him) up or at least shoot (him). Klein exclaimed that the "only 'n' word that used to describe him was knucklehead". Judge Hatchett replied, "that word doesn't start with an 'n'". Point Judge Hatchett.

Woods claimed that Klein was a drug dealer (prescription pills). Klein denied it accusation and explained that she caught Woods trying to steal her percocet on several occasions. Woods denied and told the court that Klein was "one sandwich short of a picnic basket". Judge Hatchett had never heard that expression before.

In a surprise move, Judge Hatchett called Renee C. Martin (Forensic Document Examiner -Handwriting Expert) to testify. Martin explained that the document was in fact a forgery. Someone had traced Klein's signature on the promissory note. Point Klein.

Judge Hatchett ended the trial by saying to Klein, "I'm dismissing this case. I thought that you were as crazy as a bat, but it turns out that you were telling the truth".

My Scoreboard

Woods - 1 Point
Klein - 2 Points
Judge Hatchett - 1 Point

Judgment

I agreed with Judge Hatchett . But, I also agree with Woods that Klein is crazier than shit.

Emmy Award Winning - Cristina's Court

Anthony Foye vs. Lennox (aka Pedro Gunn, aka King Pedro) Holligan - The Honorable Cristina Perez presided (notice the halo over her head in the picture).

Anthony Foye sued Lennox Holligan for $580.00 of unpaid wages. Holligan claimed that he had never seen Foye in his life, therefore no money was owed.

Judge Cristina began the case by asking Holligan how she should address him. He replied, "King Pedro". She said, "this is exciting. I've never had royalty in my court". Holligan smiled and laughed. The sarcasm had missed him by a mile. Holligan was asked to explain his side of the story. He said that he had hired a photographer to take pictures at the Philly Caribbean Carnival Festival, but never received any photos from the photographer. Foye piped in and said, "you got every picture I took". Holligan replied, "man, I don't even know who you are. I've never seen you in my life". This stumped the court. Cristina and Bailiff Renard looked at each other in bewilderment and Cristina asked if a mistake had been made on pairing up the plaintiff and defendant for that particular case. No mistake had been made, however, Holligan still claimed that he had never seen Foye in his life. Maybe his face was different or he had gotten fat. Foye said that nothing had changed. Point Foye (from the start this is looking bad for the pathological liar, aka King Pedro).

Foye claimed that he had met face to face with Holligan and signed a contract stating terms of employment. Judge Cristina held up a copy of the contract and asked if Holligan had ever seen it before. He said yes and he signed it, but he still didn't know who Foye was. Point Foye. Seriously, King Pedro.

Judge Cristina explained to Foye that the reason that Holligan probably didn't recognize Foye was because "King Pedro is royalty. He meets a lot of people and can't possibly remember everyone he meets". Point Judge Cristina. Holligan again missed the sarcasm and agreed with Judge Cristina.

Holligan went on to explain that the reason that Foye didn't get paid was because he was 2 hours late for the shoot. Judge Cristina said, "so you do know Foye?". Holligan replied, "yeah, now his face is coming back to me". Foye also presented a CD of the photo shoot, which Foye shot, that contained pictures of Holligan posing with the models from the Festival. 5 Points Foye, just because I hate liars.

Holligan stated that Foye's pictures were terrible and ended up not using the photos for promotional purposes. Holligan found some other publications on the web and used their photos instead. Therefore, Foye shouldn't have to be paid, because he got what he wanted for free. Judge Cristina asked him to repeat himself again for the court. He did and she explained that he just admitted to breach of contract. 5 Points Foye, again because I hate liars.

Judge Cristina ruled in favor of Foye for $250.00 (not the original amount of $580.00 because interest was not mentioned the contract).

My scoreboard

Foye - 12 points
Judge Cristina - 1 point
King Pedro - 0 points

Judgment

I agreed with Judge Cristina. Foye didn't have to open his mouth to win this case. I will say this, if Judge Judy would have presided, she would have dismissed the case on name alone. King Pedro? Really? Judge Judy don't have time for no foolishness.

Divorce Court

Tracey Jones vs. Lachester Jones - Judge Lynn Toler presided.

Tracey sued her estranged husband, Lachester for 6 months rent ($2460). Lachester asked Tracey for a divorce because Tracey "don't got it no mo". Hence, the couple ended up in Divorce Court. By the way, the couple have one child together.

When Judge Lynn asked Tracey if she agreed with Lachester about her "having it", Tracey replied "of course I still got it", and paraded in front of the Judge's bench with a shopping bag (a prop that Tracey brought into court to help prove her point). Tracey said, "see Judge? I still got it. This is how I look when I shop". Point Tracey.

Lachester said that he had to divorce Tracey because "she nag and ain't cute no mo".

Tracey said that she doesn't nag. She taught him a lot. Like how to wear his pants. She bought him a belt. He was wearing shoe strings in his pants to keep them up. Point Tracey.

Lachester then stated that Tracey tricked him into marrying her by telling him that she had just won $50K in a sweepstakes and the check was coming. Point Lachester.

Tracey said that Lachester would leave for 6 months at a time and shack up with other women. So, Tracey cut up all of his clothes and threw them in their front yard. Lachester said the reason why he left was he didn't have a key to his house. Point Tracey and Lachester.

Lachester's sister, Doris Kimmons, testified on Lachester's defense. She said that Tracey was always on the chat lines looking for "thug boys". Point Lachester.

By this time, Judge Lynn was tired of all of the foolishness. She awarded Tracey $2050 (5 months rent) and told her to "handle (her) business like (she) can handle her business". Sound advice, if I have ever heard any.

She then told Lachester, "don't have no babies until you are stable. The last thing that we need is baby mama drama". Well put, Judge Lynn, well put.

My scoreboard

Tracey - 3 points
Lachester - 3 points

Results: Even though the scored was tied, Tracey presented her case with more finesse.

Judgment

I agreed with the judgment.
